The Football Centre Dubai offers quality sports-centric solutions in modern facilities, including indoor and outdoor football pitches, sports academies, camps, and parties.
The FC Dubai engaged us to develop a new eCommerce website for them which would allow them to create and manage football pitches rental bookings, academy bookings, summer camp bookings, birthday parties bookings and much more. They wanted an eCommerce solution that would help automate their processes by offering smart simplified online booking and an easy-to-use CMS to manage them.
The website was developed as an online booking website using the Shopify eCommerce platform. The majority of the products to be sold on the site were rentals and camps bookings so we incorporated a powerful online booking engine compatible with Shopify. This allowed users to not only browse the rental facilities, camps and academies but also book them online in a few easy steps.
The site also notified the client by email when a customer made a booking and sent an order confirmation summary email through to the customer’s email address.
The checkout is a simple three step process to complete a booking. The website was integrated with a local payment gateway called Payfort which allows users to pay online for their bookings using their credit card.
Additional to this, the site was set up with a back-end so that the client could make changes to content, add/remove pages and images as well as update venue info, camps, academies and events times, and manage bookings. The site had a newsfeed section added in, again with an admin system access to allow the client to add new blog stories as and when they wanted.
The new website greatly improved the business function for FC Dubai, allowing them to better run their internal admin and processes by reducing the level of work they had to undertake on manual bookings.
